Quick question, I sold something to a forum member, I wanted XXX for the item, they send me XXX via PayPal. I check my PayPal and I actually received XXX-$20 because of the fees.

Is there some special option or way to recieve money via PayPal without having the fee's assessed? Also, is it then possible for me to "refund" the payment and have them send it another time via an alternate method without fees?

That way I get what I wanted for the item and he doesn't have to makeup the extra ~$20.

Thanks.

I hate to do this but it is time. For sale is a 1962 Lincoln continental. I bought this car at the beginning of summer this year wanting to restore it, but now I have orders out of the country and cant take it with me. Car is in great shape with only one rust spot in the rear quarter panel on the driver side. The windsheild also would need to be replaced, as it has some cracks in it. The guy I bought it from said it ran great last summer, but now there are some stuck lifters. I have not messed with this car at all, so im not 100% sure of that. I can get it running if the buyer wants me to, needs a battery. All the interior is there and in great shape for being almost 50 years old. The body is in good shape, minus the one rust spot, and would only need little work. All the chrome is there and in good shape, some peices will need a little work. The car has factory power (like seats and windows) and air conditioning. I do not have a trailor to move this car so you would need to bring one and a truck with some balls to pull it. I had Classic auto insurance tell me that the car the way it sits now is worth an estamated $3,200 and could be worth up to $37,000 fully restored. For those who do not know, president kennedy was shot in a car like this but it was a convertible.

That being said im only asking $1,800. Im pretty firm on this price. If you would like pics of specific places/parts let me know.

I typed his name in on Google trying to find a relative to contact, I didn't find anything, but there was a picture of him at Northern Neighbors day, and his unit in the MAFB homepage photos. If anyone can contact his unit before he tries to do something please help out. It would be really bad if he was putting these statuses on FB and no one did anything.

He added me on Facebook, I've never met him before, but I did graduate with him at MHS. He sent me a friend request and I denied it. Then he sent me another one so I just added him because I thought he'd keep sending them. Anyways, the last few days these were his statuses, they haven't always been like that. I'm just not sure if he's serious or just wants attention.
Long story short, left it sitting next to my bed and went to class. My son tested its buoyancy and tossed it in the toilet. I threw it in a big bowl o' rice and hoped for the best. Just got home and tested it out and, to my dismay, it works flawlessly. You can see a spot on the screen where it was wet or still is wet, it's hard to tell. Can't get a pic of it though and it doesn't affect the performance or visibility.

Never had a song downloaded to it, just checked the interweb now to see if its wifi connection still worked. Everything works as new and is in brand new condition minus the flawed screen.

As it sits i already have about 6-8 hours into the car in JUST CLEANING. Im very meticulous when it comes to cleaning before painting. Every part that came off the engine bay was painted or cleaned. It was COMPLETELY stripped down to bare engine bay. The rest of the car has really yet to be messed with as ive been putting all my time into doing the engine bay right.

Car does have some rust, by the fuel door, and on the rockers. both are fixable. Its the ONLY rust on the car, ive been everywhere underneath this car and you WILL NOT find any other rust underneath.

Anywho on to some pics, if you have some questions let me know.
